About Zoey
Who we are, and the doctors who look after you.
Zoey is a telehealth platform for women. From an online consultation with a doctor licensed in Japan to genuine prescription medication and delivery, everything happens online.
All our doctors hold a Japanese medical licence and practise at their own clinics. They understand women’s health and will talk with you in Japanese or English, whichever you prefer.
All medications are prescribed by a doctor based on your individual health profile. Your doctor monitors your progress to make sure your treatment stays safe and effective. For each medicine’s approval status, see our self-pay treatment notice.
Zoey is operated by Noah & Zoey株式会社, with care provided in partnership with our partner clinic. See the partner clinic page for details.
How it works
From your questionnaire to your door.
Start with a short online questionnaire (about 5 minutes), then speak to a doctor by chat or video. If they prescribe treatment, we deliver it to your door in discreet packaging.

Yes. Our doctors can talk with you in Japanese or English, whichever you prefer.

Fees & insurance
What you pay for.
First and follow-up consultations are always free. That includes dose adjustments, switching medication and questions about side effects.
Zoey's care is self-pay, so Japan's public health insurance doesn't cover it.
No. Shipping is free nationwide.
A daily pill containing hormones that prevents pregnancy. It stops ovulation and thickens cervical mucus, so sperm can’t easily reach an egg.
When taken correctly, it is over 99% effective at preventing pregnancy.
Take the missed pill as soon as you remember. If you miss more than one, check your pill pack’s instructions or speak to a doctor.
If the medicine can be prescribed in Japan, a doctor can talk you through continuing it or switching.
All three mimic natural hormones that regulate appetite. Wegovy’s active ingredient is semaglutide, taken once a week; Mounjaro’s is tirzepatide, once a week; Victoza’s is liraglutide, once a day. Results vary and depend on sticking to your treatment and making lifestyle changes alongside it.
Adults 18 and over with a BMI of 27.5 or above, or 23 and above with certain health risks. A doctor needs to confirm you’re suitable.
Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting, injection site reactions and low blood sugar. More serious side effects may occur and should be discussed with your doctor.
Mounjaro, Rybelsus and Victoza are approved in Japan to treat type 2 diabetes; prescribing them for weight loss is not an approved use in Japan. Wegovy is approved in Japan to treat obesity disease. See our self-pay treatment notice for details.
If you feel a treatment isn't right for you within 30 days, we refund the cost of unused medication, on our conditions. If you're returning it because it doesn't suit you, a follow-up consultation with your doctor may be needed before we refund.
